I always get PMs in the chat that I'd like to report, but most of the time I don't because I hate copying and pasting and then messaging that to a mod. Also, the person may have gotten off which closes the window before I could copy and paste it.
What I am suggesting is a report button on chat PMs like on the forum posts so they are easy to report.


PS. If any mod deletes this post, please let me know why because I thought this up and typed it out and would like to know what I did wrong. :)

I don't mind mine being deleted. I didn't realise it had been done. OK, it was your idea, not trying to steal it or anything.

I just think it gets real annoying when PM'd constantly, especially when these people can't manage to type correctly. And when ignored they continue with
'??? u there'

Oh, I know. I wasn't being petty at all. I was just looking out so another one of my posts didn't get deleted. :D
Anyway, back on topic. Maybe also let the chat windows stay open when one of the members signs out, so that people can re-read the message if they want to? I find it annoying when someone gets kicked and the message I am typing disappears, or we can't remember what was said so the conversation dies.

The chat is the least of my concerns to be honest so I leave it to others as much as possible :D

This PM reporting feature will likely not happen anytime soon. I have so many things on my plate I am concentrating on finishing what I have. Progress on the new getDare is being made. Just the other day I made some huge strides in completing new features. When I have finished the new additions I will then take a look at the smaller stuff.

For the foreseeable future the only way to report abuse in the chat is via PM. Include some of the logs in your PM so we can search for the entire conversation.

This is a very good idea. I think I could easily whip up a form when I next upgrade the forums in the near future.

I do, but as of recent, I have heard different things from different mods and I am aware that mods do things differently :D
